πŸ“„ Other Certificates

Summary

πŸ’‘
You need to share your degree certificate from Medical School, plus any relevant exams and your ALS.

Action Steps

πŸ‘‰ Medical School Certificate

You will need to have the original Medical School degree certificate to present at your interview. If you have multiple degrees, this should be the one which is linked to your GMC registration (check what is visible when you look yourself up on the GMC website).

If you've lost it, ask your University if they will issue another one. In the meantime, you can sign a disclaimer with the agency to say you don’t currently have access to your certificate.

πŸ‘‰ Exam Certificates

If you've done exams such as MRCP, MRCS etc. this will be really helpful in getting you locum work or helping you to get an improved rate.

If you're an IMG who sat the PLAB exams and IELTS / OET to get your GMC registration, you should include these too.

Send a scan of your certificates over to the locum agency.

πŸ‘‰ ALS

If you have done ALS in the past few years, they now only issue online certificates rather than paper copies - so check your emails for the certificate and send that over.

You can also download your certificate by logging into the Resus Council website.

If you have done other courses such as ATLS or APLS then provide these in the same way.
